TRACEO® Restauration - How does it work ?

CRYOLOG has developed the TRACEO® restauration label specifically for professionals of the collective catering sector. It is an adhesive label that uses a colouring reaction to indicate when a product is no longer fit for consumption or if a critical threshold of ruptures in the cold chain has been reached.

TRACEO® Restauration uses a system of 3 colours to convey 3 different messages.

Green: The meal is fresh, it can be heated and served to guests
Brown: the meal is "on its last legs", it must be heated and served shortly after the label has coloured.
Red: The meal is no longer fresh, it has been subject to a critical accumulation of ruptures in the cold chain. It can no longer be served.

TRACEO® Restauration uses TRACEO® technology: the use of micro-organisms to simulate the real deterioration of products to which the label is affixed. It is the most pertinent solution available on the market for monitoring product freshness.
